This project is a large-scale distribution and warehouse facility complete with surrounding lorry access and car parking facilities.

The footprint of the main building is 278 metres by 120 metres – with an area of 33,360 m2 – the size of four football pitches.

The building is set on a site of some 32 acres including access and parking for cars and lorries, landscaping and two attenuation lagoons.

Euro-City are carrying out the £2 million pound groundworks package for #McLaren Construction, with whom we have a long standing relationship - built on years of successfully completed projects.

The works include all of the building foundations plus some 3 kilometres of underground drainage as well as a further 3 kilometres of trenching for underground services. The project will then be completed with the external works including curbing and paving throughout the site.

The real challenge here is speed and co-ordination – with a total of 21 weeks to carry out the entire groundworks package in conjunction with the other construction work taking place.
