Company Update 1st October 2023
Planned Senior Management Changes at Euro-City Group Ltd but it’s still “Business as usual”.
As part of our ongoing succession planning, we are very pleased to announce the following changes to the Euro-City Group Ltd Senior Management Team that take place from the 1st October 2023.
Overall Company Management
Mike Risby is taking up the role of Chair.
Michael Cafferkey is taking over from Mike Risby heading up the company as Managing Director.
''We have worked successfully together for twenty years, and Mike Cafferkey has been an excellent director at Euro-City for six years. We have been working towards this point for the past two years and have jointly decided that now the time is right to make the change.
I wish Mike Cafferkey all success in his new position and will be continuing to support him and the company into the future.''
Mike Risby
Financial Management
Magda Fejcher is taking over from Eileen Kelly leading the accounts department and taking up the post of Financial Director. Eileen is staying on part-time until Christmas to assist with the transition.
''Eileen has worked with me over many years and has been fundamental in helping bring Euro-City to where it is today. Both personally and on behalf of the company I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to Eileen for everything she has done and wish her well in her upcoming retirement.
Magda is a natural successor to Eileen, having worked together with her across the companies for years and I wish her all the best in her new role – a role which she has made herself ready for with all of her dedication.''
